Abusive ex. I called the police. I'm being supported by a domestic abuse department who work with the police.

I rang my ex this morning. No answer. It's been 15 days since we last spoke. The reason I've done this is I have a whole binbag of his clothes in my bedroom. I dont want them leaving here long term.i need my space back. But I know without his permission in writing or a response regarding if he doesn't want them I can't throw them away. So I've messaged and said please can you advise if you want your clothing back or not please.

I don't know if I've done the right thing. But as long as I have his clothing here there's a future risk of more drama and I don't want that.

I have reported the crime of harrasment from.his family member and domestic abuse from him. If I receive any further abuse I will fo statements etc. But if they leave me alone I won't take it to that level.

Is there anyone you know that would deal with his stuff for so you don’t need to contact him further?

This is how he works, he likes to have that grip on you. I don't think you should be in if he comes for the clothes. You really need to give them to someone else to pass on to him.

My intention was to leave them in my shed on am agreed day. I'd likely be at work anyway. But as always not happening.

Can you just leave them in the shed anyway? I'd bag them up as best you can so they won't get ruined but leave them in the shed so they're out of your way. If he doesn't collect them within 3 months I'd be bringing them to the charity shop.
