Just that - has suspicions for a while but over the last day or so i've found out a few things to do with internet history and places visited that have made nearly certain. I feel absolutely sick and heartbroken and total fool. I don't know how sure I need to be before I confront them as I don't want I be wrong but sadly I feel I'm right

Find a post on here about someone's OH cheating. Sadly there are loads of them lately. Read it out to them and Initiate a conversation about it. See how they react.

Sad to see I'm not the only one - solidarity ladies. Mine is playing out exactly how The Script says it would.

I'll never get the whole truth and I'll always be the villain. It's quite disgusting really.

Don't confront straight away, as much as you might want to. He'll almost certainly deny it and it'll just give him the heads up to cover his tracks and be more vigilant. Careful snooping is the way forward.

Careful snooping is the way forward but just be very careful. Be prepared to be lied to so please just trust your gut.

BigSleepySnail · 26/12/2024 17:38

You need enough evidence so it is undeniable, otherwise he will just deny it and you'll always wonder/never trust him. Gather enough evidence so you know for a fact it's happening. Otherwise he'll swear blind it's all in your mind (I've been there. I only found undeniable truth years later).

Agree with all the above but......be quite clear in your head what you want to have happen if your suspicions are correct. Will you be able to forgive him (or will the doubts always be there), will you want him to move out immediately (can you cope financially and practically as a single parent) - imagine what these futures would look like for you and decide with your head and not your heart.
