Activity ideas for couples

Hi everyone, I could really use your help! I’m looking for ideas of things to do as a couple—preferably without any screens and ideally for free.
I feel like we’ve fallen into a routine, and I’d love to shake things up. I enjoy laughing and having fun, but I’ve noticed I’m laughing less and less lately (due to work and exams) and I really want to change that.
If you have any suggestions : activities, games, or even creative ideas that bring joy and connection, I’d be so grateful.
Thank you!!

We currently do a lot of :
⁃ charades
⁃ wavelength
⁃ taste test
⁃ guess the song/movie
⁃ finish the lyrics
but it gets quite repetitive and well, boring.

Also we have just moved in together so we don't have any bord games.

Ready Steady Cook! Set a budget per person and each shop/plan and make a dish, then judge the winner, or buy a selection of ingredients and toss a coin/take in turns to split ingredients and create a dish. Or just cook something nice between you!

We did Ready Steady Cook nights in lockdown. And First Dates where you come dressed as one of your heroes and the two heroes have to have a date together.

Play cards - strip poker?

Have a bath together by candlelight.

If the weather is good, go for a moonlit walk in the woods. We have done that a few times. It's very atmospheric and romantic.

Cheap dates - improv or comedy try out nights at local pubs, or a night when musicians are playing.

Get cinema tickets very cheaply with Vodaphone if one of you have a contract with them.

Take turns to run a film night. Pick a film you either both want to see or one of you loves and the other hasn't seen. Make popcorn and home made pizza. Watch the film with the lights off, like a cinema.

Do you each have individual hobbies? Could you go along with each other to those?

Do you like doing active stuff? Me and my husband used to go to our local climbing wall and do that together. It's really good for team work, encouragement and fitness.

Unfortunately don't live near one now and we both really miss it.
