Sisters shocking behaviour

Our mum has been seriously ill, and is coming back from hospital to her home again. She is 96 years old. My eldest 2 middle aged sister siblings have been arguing non-stop. TBH they are both nasty, toxic people, and most of the time I let them get on with it.
However, one of them left a message on the other sisters phone, swearing and calling her names, which the recipient, my sister, has now shared with everyone on her list of contacts, she even has knocked on my mums neighbors doors and let them listen to the voicemail. In order to 'show them what she is like'
It's so embarrassing and cringeworthy, I'm so ashamed of them. The whole family, extended family, neighbours and friends are being dragged into the familys craziness. My poor mum knows nothing of this. Both sisters scream and rant at the drop of a hat. One of them has stolen from my mum, (and from me, I don't let her into my house anymore) and has stolen from our older relatives houses. Has anyone any words of advice? Or has similar experiences?

Tell them that they need put aside their own issues as you all need to be putting your mother first at this time.

And then keep right out of their argument.

Nothing you can do really- they won’t change now. Don’t enter into any discussion with either of them, quickly change the subject. Just keep yourself right.

If your mum is 96 how old are your sisters? Surely they must be heading towards 60 if they are not there already?
I would stay well out of it, they won't change now and just remember, their behaviour, although appalling is no reflection on you. Take care of your mother and yourself and keep your distance from your sisters.

Just keep a distance from them and focus on your mum, I think.

hide your mum's valuables and any bank statements, bank cards etc.
