Why would someone block a person back if they are already blocked first ?

This is super silly but I found this topic interesting. I recently came across a podcast of four men. One of the topics was blocking and why women do it.

There was this man who said him and his ex have had a back and forth flirtatious run down. He felt like there was a connection still there, so he asked her to dinner and set up dinner reservations. He had something come up and he couldn’t make there agreed dinner date. He was so hung up on his emergency that he had to handle, due to this he forgot to contact her and cancel the date. So she actually was stood up at the restaurant.

She ended up blocking him on every platform. Somehow he found out, and he then decided to block her back on every platform as well…..

Why would someone block someone that had already blocked them ??? Any opinions?

GreatJay's contribution to this thread reminds me of the time Alex Salmond, then First Minister of Scotland, ran a sex advice column in one of the mainstream Scottish newspapers. No matter what question the reader asked, he'd express sincere sympathy and then explain that the cause of the sexual problem described was the fact that Scotland was unable to control its own resources and guide its own destiny, and the only solution was to vote Yes in the then-upcoming Scottish Independence Referendum.

(It turned out later that this was a hoax and he had not actually written the column nor agreed for his name to be used, but it's funnier if you ignore that bit.)

I copy the email addresses and subscribe them to Scientology newsletters and the like. I like to think I'm doing god's work. 😁

There was a post from a spammer. The old love spell bullshit.

Oddly it has disappeared rather than been replaced with the usual message in the grey box saying deleted for breaking talk guidelines, but it was there.

The word ‘blocked’ has lost all meaning for me after this thread!

Ah, thank you!

Blocking back to prevent any notifications coming through now that they're seeing another person?
