First thing to say is - see a solicitor!
But a lot of what they tell you will be that all your assets (and debts) will be added together, and you'll get half each. So the biggest ones will be the house, and then probably pensions, plus whatever savings you both have.
Cash and Pensions can be split, but for the house there's obviously 3 options:

1 - You have it. But you'll need to be able to pay him out.
2 - He has it. But then he'll need to pay you out.
3 - It's sold and you split the money.

So as far as you can, try to work out the value of the other assets and debts you both have, and see if you can work out the best way forward that works for you.

If he's threatening to wreck the house - keep a record of exactly what was said, when, also of any threats to you: it could be important, may help to get him out or put some controls over him in terms of selling.

Google divorce lawyers in your area, go and see one on Monday!

Do you have anywhere you can go? Friends or family? If so, just go. He cannot threaten you and expect you to stay and he may very well not follow through with any threats anyway.

From a safe place, you can sort out selling the property and getting your half of the profit from sale

Would you be able to get some kind of non-molestation order based on his previous violence, to keep him out of the house while a sale goes ahead?
Or could you proceed with divorce while remaining in the property and the minute he kicks off about it, either with you or by destroying property, call police and have him removed and apply for restraining order to keep him away until sale complete.
Or, is there a mechanism whereby any damage he caused, effecting value of property, comes out of his share of sale?

Speak to a solicitor. Starting point is 50/50 split. If he damages the house after you start proceedings, you should get a bigger share to compensate you.

Go full time again if you possibly can, it will give you more options generally.
