Clare's law

Morning all. After a few months of relationship decline and some red flags I pursued a Clare's law disclosure. I have had an email today informing me they are in a position to give disclosure and asking me to go the police station. Anyone know if this is standard procedure at all times or does this mean they have found something to actually disclose?

northernlight20 What made you do this before marriage, that wasn’t enough to stop you marrying him?

we were getting serious and before I introduced him to my kids, I decided to get one done. You just never know, and I wanted to make sure all bases were covered and I also needed to see how he would react when I told him what id done. He didnt even flinch, just said he understood and I was right.

I did a Claire's law and there was nothing to disclose. However, my complaint against him is now on their should another person be concerned.

His DBS will be clean if he's not been prosecuted or cautioned.

This is inaccurate
I work in a high security environment and see many entries added to DBS that have not been filed as criminal charges

OP are you okay?

Do they inform him that a Claire's law has been applied for? Asking out of interest.
As others said OP , I think its wise to take someone with you to the police station

No they don't, if they did you could put you in harms way. You have to agree to not disclose what the police tell you about the information they have too
