So annoyed at asshole oh.
Sat there whilst newborn screaming blue murder, ignoring him sitting on his phone while I'm making his bottle in kitchen.
He said I should have made it quicker.
Just wanted to vent.
I couldn't sit there like that. Is it a man thing?

No. It's a dickhead thing.

Windymcwindyson · 02/02/2024 22:40

Ltb and don't look back..

AnneLovesGilbert · 02/02/2024 22:42

A man thing? Do you think half the population don’t care if their infants are screaming and happily ignore them?

adriftinadenofvipers · 02/02/2024 22:44

Eat the arse off him. Why couldn't the shithead have made it?!

whatsitcalledwhen · 02/02/2024 23:02

A man thing?

No, it's a shit and pathetic dad thing.

I don't know how you can look at him tbh.

He's clearly absolutely awful all the time for you to have normalised such horrible behaviour.

Do you really want to spend the rest of your life with an arsehole?

Veronicamay123 · 03/02/2024 04:40

No I absolutely agree it's disgusting just was thinking am I being unreasonable to be so angry / upset
As when I pulled him he wasn't bothered

I think phones and long toilet breaks should be banned when you have a newborn.
Nip this in the bud now.
Give clear direct instructions as to what you want him to do.
If this cop out behaviour is standard/continues, then you need to reevaluate the relationship.
And it's not a man thing. Its an asshole thing.
