So quick backstory, I’m a SAHM that does everything around the house besides the bins lol! Anyways made rice today and little girl chucked a lot on floor so hubby decided to mop, I asked him if he’s going to mop the bathroom and hallway too he said no, and I asked him to leave the mop out as I will mop them, but then I decided not to because I have stomach cramps as have just started my periods, and I said leave it as I’ve started my periods, he then said to me can you at least go pick up the stuff from the bathroom floor ( stuff being our daughters clothes and nappy from when I gave her a shower ) and I said what do you mean he Said I’m going to mop it, so can you go pick up the stuff and I said but you are literally going there anyway so can’t you just pick it up, and he goes im doing a favour for you I wasn’t going to mop there, and now I’m just annoyed idk if I’m being the asshole here ??

If he's 'doing you a favour' why doesn't he just do it all instead of trying to make you pick stuff up for him. 🙄

Less the situation and more the ‘doing you a favour’ comment that would enrage me!!

The 'doing you a favour' line would enrage me.

He's a bloody adult, he shouldn't need a guide on how to function as one. Men like that are extremely unsexy.

Doing you a favour mopping his own bathroom?
