Think I caught DH messaging someone

I can't be sure but I glanced over his shoulder and there seemed to be a ongoing chat with pink speech bubbles that I've never seen before.

Does anyone know of any dating sites/messaging apps where the conversations are in pink speech bubbles? I don't know what to think.

My Facebook messages are pink because the friend I message set our chat to that - it changed for me as well. I'm not sure of any apps as I don't use a lot of social media, but it could be as simple as Facebook. Try it on a chat with a friend.

I hope it's innocent x

I did an instant chat/message thing with Very yesterday to sort out an order. It had pink speech bubbles - it could be something like that and Xmas shopping related?

Why didn't you just ask 🤷🏻‍♀️

Match.com has dark pink speech bubbles

I did ask and he seemed to act a bit cagey and said he was just messaging his friends but then he's been awfully clingy and keeps asking me if I'm ok since. Something just feels off.

I think you need to ask to see the chat platform with the pink bubbles. His reaction will tell you everything you need to know.

TheCatterall · 02/12/2023 18:46

Facebook messenger can have pink messages if you change the theme in the chat.

Yeah if he's acting cagey just ask to see.

Ask ? His reaction will tell you either way. Likely deleted by now though

Do people actually just ask to see their partner's apps?

I'd not think to ask my DH (22 years together) to show me his phone, the insinuation would be that I don't believe his answer is enough.

I'd happily show him if he asked because I have nothing to hide, but A) He'd never ask B) He'd show me immediately with bemusement.

If you're thinking it, OP, then trust your gut.

With all due respect to yourself you bring light I think its the social media era we are now in if you've been together 22 years I'd put you at 40+.

These days with lots of apps readily available it seems the culture for young men to easily have their cake and eat it. Many download dating apps or even standard apps at work and have ' emotional affairs / exchange nudes ect a scary amount of ' men ' do it
