I dated a guy a year ago. We met at an event and had a few drinks and swapped numbers. We went out a few times and he cooked me dinner etc then he had troubles at work and kinda disappeared as he was clearly very stressed. We bumped into each other again in a pub on a night out and we went home together. The next morning he freaked out and left. That was January. Last night he messaged saying I looked good, he thought I had blocked him and fancy a drink. I have no idea what to reply so I’m looking for suggestions!

You need help.

Lol, in what way? It's a perfectly plausible assumption. Explains why there was a commotion and he had to leave his job, explains why he freaked out the moring after they slept together (because he'd cheated) and explains why he's sniffing around again atm (when rhe hens away, the roosters play).

Of course he could just be a standard headfucking playboy. But not really sure I 'need help' for pointing out that 2 + 2 could equal four. Maybe you need help, for taking such aggressive stances with people over the Internet on their opinions.
