My partner leaves their dirty underwear on the bathroom floor, sometimes for a couple of days, yet they walk by the wash basket on the landing. It's driving me insane.
When I mention it they give me cr4p about being in a rush.
What would u do?

Split. Honestly.
Im so fed up of the lazy entitled behaviour in our house that we are actually going to separate, but he doesn’t know it yet.

My ex used to do this. Lazy and disgusting expecting someone else to pick up their dirty pants

CurlewKate · 25/09/2023 08:53

Either dump him or ignore it if he has loads of other redeeming features.

Please tell us you don't pick it up and wash it?

If someone is responding to you when you tell them how you feel, with something that you refer to as 'crap', there is no respect in the relationship.

Leave, and learn what a healthy relationship looks like before getting together with anyone else.

You shouldn't mention it at all. Don't you understand the role he has assigned for you yet ?

You are his maid. You are his cleaner. You are the shopper, chef and the person who is wholly responsible for tidying up after him and running around making his life easier. You are his Mother.

Unless this is what you want, for the rest of your life, then I suggest you do something about it ?
