'She just doesn't seem his type' posts

I've noticed a few posts lately where women's exs are now dating new women who are their complete opposite. Or whom they say of 'he said that sort of woman was totally not his type'. And are shocked to find their ex now dating these women.

Only an opinion but...

If they make a big song and dance about certain woman not being there type it's either because:

A. He is trying to reassure his partner that that she is the woman for him. He is trying to just bolster her self esteem.
OR
B. He is trying to throw you off the scent of what he IS actually really into.

But just because he now fancies her, doesn't mean he never fancied you. People can be attracted to blondes, brunettes, short, tall, skinny, plump. Even if they normally have a preferred type.

I'm just saying, take people with a pinch of salt at best...and a little suspicion potentially, if they feel the need to tell you they'd never date anyone 'that looked like her'

Also..generalisation here but I'm also of the opinion that men are not usually, remotely fussy.

I think men might have a ‘type’ they would describe if asked what they like..as in hair colour, body type, glam or natural etc.

However I don’t think it holds when it comes to choosing who they have relationships with and lots of other factors influence their choice. It’s normally more about how that person makes them feel at the time.
