Clare's law information

If someone applies to the police under Clare's Law what information would they receive? If a man has been accused of domestic violence but the police didn't think it worthy of investigating to the point of interviewing him would that information be available? So a man is accused of rape but the police don't think it's worth investigating because it's her word against his, does that report by the woman show up?
Name changed obviously.

That doesn't make sense, if a woman has accused a man of rape they will investigate regardless, its the CPS that decides if a lack of evidence means they can't prosecute.
I have reported an ex under Claire's Law because I was advised to do so by a friend who worked in the police. He was never charged with anything although the police did come to the house once. So based on that, I would assume that records would show up and therefore would be disclosed under Claire's Law.

How do you report an ex so the information could be disclosed under Clare’s Law? I left my exH 2 years ago and don’t want to press charges, but I had to flee the relationship and the police were called to my address. I was put under the care of social services and a MARAC was held regarding my situation.
minor physical violence but extreme C+C behaviour / narcissistic abuse.
I’ve been considering reporting him for a while but thought it was only recorded if you press charges.

@Rainydays777 I hope you have a better experience than I did if you report it and I encourage you to do so. Just phone the police and say you want to report it. I did a video interview and they told me that my repeated rapes didn't classify as rapes and the detective didn't know the law on coercive control and said she'd look it up. Not very nice she said but not a crime. It was unbelievable. So my question is about whether or not that would show up on a Clare's Law request?

I was told by my friend (policewoman) to inform the police so it was on record, however I did not want to report it. I'd left him by this point but she said under Clare's law, the information could then remain available to anyone who inquired.

Well that sounds like a horrendous ordeal to not be believed! That should've been investigated IMO. Sorry that happened to you.

I'm under the impression that any information held on file would be made available.

Incidentally....another friend rang the police to enquire about our other friend's controlling boyfriend and was told that it was only her that could request the information using Clare's Law.
