Hi not sure if I posted in the right section my screen is broken
my daughter suddenly came up in a massive all over body rash. I’ve added pictures
we had a picnic in the park on Sunday, and then on Monday we had a walk by the Riverside and walked through the adjacent park, used the swings .
On Monday evening, there was some red marks on her back which looked like welts, so gave her Loratidine andI took her to the gp Tuesday morning and he said they were better than the day before and to do nothing ( I showed him photos)
an hour after seeing the GP, the rash became progressively worse and worse and covered her from head to toe, so I took her to A&E and they gave her steroids and piriton
this morning, she has a leopard print rash all over her body
I’m stumped as to what caused this so I can avoid it in future , the hospital said they can’t identify what exactly caused it
the only other time she has had an allergic reaction was when we walked through the park in lockdown and her face swelled - but no rash
just wondered if anyone had any ideas of what can cause this sort of rash . She’s itching like mad ! And nothing seems to cool the rash
