What is this? Play detective on husbands bloody dodgy bank account (think hookers)

At first I thought it said HTTPS://LQS. Τhis takes you through to the page of a local Indian company who deal with Suzuki. We have no connection to India or Suzuki.

I looked a bit closer though and it’s not what it seems. The first forward slash is shaped like a j with a ball shape in its cup. The second forward slash seems to be a letter of Cyrillic script which incorporates the L, so it just finishes QS.

i can work out the Cyrillic but the J with ball is beyond me. Anyone seen it before or can decode it?

Are you OK, OP? As several people have said, those are standard forward slashes, no cups or Cyrillic involved.

Surely the conversation is how do I get away from him? The details of what he is doing do they even matter.

Sadly no. I’m physically unwell at the moment without any support where we live. I depend on him to help me with the kids otherwise they might go in care.

There’s a long back story of him leaving the house absolutely destroyed after lockdown (alcoholism which he’s stopped) (which I worked through) and not really getting on board sorting it out, it’s acceptable but would deteriorate fast if I was alone.

My Mum is up over the weekend and we’re just going to fill bags and bags of his rubbish and hoarding and try and get the place as minimalistic as possible. Nothing on sides, so I can clean on my own. Ditto getting children into decent habits he neglected when the stay at home parent. Hanging up coats, putting away dishes, towels, dirty clothes.

They are different. Sorry it’s not clearer, the first slash usually goes well beyond the bottom dot and doesn’t curl round to meet or cup it. Second slash shouldn’t meet the L either. The other text on there for other transactions wasn’t same.

Don’t suppose it really matters against everything else, but where the money goes is a mystery nobody has ever gotten to the bottom of it.

Ah. Looks like LQ are some kind of crypto so he’s probably making untraceable. Another dead end.

It's just a standard forward slash. Different fonts have different amount of spacing between the letters. That bit of text looks like it has a high font weight (how bold it is), and the letter spacing has been reduced (common when you're trying to fit a lot of text into a small space). As a result the characters are closer together.

You can see that the other letters, like the two T's in HTTPS:// are touching as well, when they wouldn't with a standard font weight and letter spacing

Can't help you with the LQS I'm afraid, but you're better off focusing on that rather than any Cyrillic or other odd characters

I was just wondering if it was a familiar typeface or if anyone had seen similar. I didn’t give my whole life story. Wasn’t relevant at the time. I can assure you any presents for me would probably be from the petrol station or a free gift.
