Socialising

Before covid hubby and I socialised quite a bit. After covid I just can’t be bothered tbh! I work 6days a week and can’t be bothered having people over, entertaining, cleaning up, tidying up after guests children. Not to mention the cost as husband goes all out when we have visitors so it’s always expensive. It’s becoming a problem as hubby is getting annoyed that we rarely have anyone over.
Thoughts ?

Well, the most obvious one is, if he wants people over, is he willing to do the cleaning, tidying, shopping, cooking, and then clearing up afterwards ?

But why can't you socialise with friends by meeting them for a meal out somewhere ? Or just going for a drink if money is now tighter. Or doing something like going to a Comedy club with them. Or doing something that involves going out in the day, or at the weekend - watching sports, visiting an exhibition, going hiking, doing a one off experience, or whatever floats your boat.

There's 101 ways to socialise without hosting.

"Hubby", 🤮, can entertain them then, obviously. You can do whatever else suits your fancy.
