I didn’t really know where to post, would really appreciate any advice and not sure if I’m in the wrong?
long story short, I do the food shopping every week (online)
I knew I had over ordered some vegetables and didn’t realise also some wraps /
not feeling well today so went for a bath with a headache and sore throat , husband comes storming up shouting and being really condescending about the over ordered food, saying he will sort it from now on and mocking me , it’s making me feel really crap, he said if he did that at work they would all laugh at him, I don’t know I’m probably over reacting, but it won’t go to waste it never does, he is still going on now, :(

Esurgh what a total twat. Why is it even an issue? Freeze the veg? Or tell him to have vegetable wraps for the next few day's then it won't go to waste!

Honestly if my partner did this I would tell him to shut up. You're poorly you've ordered extra, it's not a big deal. I would let him crack on with the ordering and cooking

I once ordered 5 hands of bananas instead of 5 individual bananas!!! I also once reserved a slot for a delivery with a bottle of champagne (as a joke to myself). I forgot to replace the bottle with actual food and my entire week’s delivery was a single bottle of champers (was delicious!)

You messed up, unless it bankrupted your family then it’s something you just laugh off. Your H is being a cunt.

• As you've said, it wouldn't go to waste anyway, so what's the harm?
• In any case, it's never OK to yell at someone and talk to them like he's talking to you
• Add to that he knows you're ill.... makes it even worse

I'm sorry but that made me laugh.

Kinda reminded me of the time I ordered 48 pints of milk 🙈 the Asda delivery man said he'd thought it was a bit odd and was really surprised when it was delivered to a residential house and my children and I answered 🤣

We all had a laugh at my idiocy and he took 44 pints of milk back with him - for which I was refunded.

Thing is, OP, that's how your husband should have responded.
