How long did it take you to leave an unhappy mariage/ relationship?

I feel regret that it has taken me years! Just that really.. particularly helpful would be responses from those who had kids. Thank you!

Didn't leave him until I found out he'd also cheated on me on top of mentally checking out from his role as a partner and a father... that was after about 10 months, and then it still took me 6 weeks or so for the scales to fall completely from my eyes!
