Valentines gifts.. what to get your husband?

so every year I struggle to get my husband a gift.. usually aftershave or a game for his console sometimes a bottle of spirit like whisky. This year I have no clue and so far got him a card and chocolate. Anyone got any ideas? Why are men so hard to buy for!? I want him to feel appreciated. He always gets me a thoughtful card, beautiful flowers and chocolates sometimes perfume or pjs or bath stuff but I think it’s easy buying for a women on valentines.

Try having a husband with a birthday exactly one week before. 😳 so he will have rum, sweets, clothes, nice shower gels etc for that.

im out of ideas - I’ll cook something nice though. I might try to find something related to his football club for him.

I like the idea of some sexy items including some naked butler style attire for him!

I will be getting nothing. We are starting the process of separating instead. Will make his valentines a little miserable but I'm pretty chilled about it all.

Oh and @RJnomore1 i know someone who has their birthday on the actual day! They hate it as everyone else always gets better gifts than she does so it just isn't a special day at all.

I bought a print off Etsy about being soul mates and was going to put it in a nice frame but I stupidly handed it to him to open today thinking it was a transfer I had ordered for sons bedroom 😩

I ordered mine a bouquet of sausage rolls one year! They went down well!
Think I might just get home a good bottle of red, I don't drink it!

My DH will be getting the same as last year and the same as he has had for the past 35+ years from me. Nothing. I will be sending out galentines day cards to all my female friends especially those who are single.

Possibly a card, we don't really go in for it. Even my kids said the other day 'isn't valentines weird when you're married'?

icefishing · 09/02/2023 15:26

It is v close to our anniversary so we smoosh them together really.
I've bought us a ps5, (but mostly so I can play the Hogwarts game.) Usually he plays games and I don't do he should get plenty of use out of it as well.

Just a card. Bought it a couple of weeks ago.
