I do want a relationship. But not a romantic one. A bunch of single friends would be lovely. I watch Motherland and feel humorous and very jealous x

I'm single and had a great time with friends on New Year's Eve. I'm open to having a relationship, but only if it improves what I have now, and that's a big ask, because I have a great life. I don't feel jealous of anyone, single or paired up. I love my life!

Happiness does not depend on relationship status. You only have to read the multiple posts of women in shitty relationships here.

DH left me and the 3 DCs in early Dec. Said he wasn't happy and needed to leave. Came as a shock as even though we'd had some rship counselling this year I always just assumed we would be ok. 20 years together. It's been awful. Kids so sad and confused. Went to a party with the kids but left early after youngest DS burst into tears as he wished his dad was there.

Life alone can be wonderful

Life alone IS wonderful. Currently sitting here in my dressing gown with my first coffee, after a lovely long sleep (no fireworks last night round my way) and planning an Easter break in Devon. I don't like NYE anyway so don't feel like I was missing out on anything.
