We were supposed to be going to our daughters's for Christmas lunch but I haven't been well. Upset stomach and diarrhea. So we stayed at home, DH saying he wasn't leaving me on my own on Christmas day.
He has done the cooking, all the washing up, brought me tea and made up my sachets.
After reading about all the shitty behaviour from some men at Christmas, this is just one who has pulled out all the stops today.

After some of the DHs described on threads today it's no wonder OP thinks she's bagged a superhero.
He sounds like a lovely husband which is great, I'm glad OP feels happy and cared for.
But christ the bar is so low when a bloke needs public praise for doing precisely what his wife would've done for him with no hesitation or fanfare.
