Wondering what DH will buy me for Christmas this year

In recent years I've had:
Men's socks
Chocolates containing an ingredient he knows I'm allergic to
Nothing because "the shop wasn't open"
A lego set (I've never expressed any interest in Lego)
Nothing because "you're too hard to buy for"

Sigh

Has anyone else had equally memorable gifts?

I hate this. I know there’s always a chorus of “gifts are for children”, but it’s disrespectful to put in so little effort. I’d feel like absolute sh%t if a partner got me any of those things - I’d feel worthless to them, and like they didn’t know me at all.
Like others, I’d be sending him a very specific list in November/early Dec and saying “spend £50, pick anything off this list”.

Me and DP write our letters to Father Christmas along with the kids (we wrote one for the cats too)

We both get to see each others list and usually get something from it. It's something we've asked for but still a suprise then.

We do label them from Father Christmas and they get delivered with the kids gifts.

My DH has the very best of intentions and is incredibly thoughtful, he's just a bit crap at choosing things I would like and for years would buy clothes that didn't quite fit, or weren't something I'd wear due to comfort.

Now we both have Amazon wish lists, you can add external links to them, we add anything we like to them throughout the year or just a link to a shop where we like loads of stuff with a comment about the kind of things we like there.

They both have loads of stuff on them so it's easy to pick and choose something affordable and that will still be a surprise. We give the lists to MIL too as she always asks for ideas, we have one for my DD specifically for MIL because she likes to be given a very specific list.
