How would you have reacted to this woman? Airport one again.

Standing in a queue waiting to be boarded - maybe a dozen or so people ahead of us and everyone was for priority boarding. We had all been standing there for maybe 15 mins. This woman walks past about the 20 odd people behind me and starts to push in in front of me. Would you let her push in or stand your ground?

I think it was this - you could see the entitlement oozing from her as if she was the only one with priority boarding

She clearly doesn't travel that often then. Probably paid for priority boarding rather than getting it on a points system

I have had this and I always tap their shoulder and thumb back to the end of the queue. Sometimes it works. If not I then say why are you still here? This has never failed me. If it did I don't know what I'd say. Probably 'get to fuck' or something 😂

I once had a woman trying to squash her case in the overhead locker and my large rucksack was in there - it fell out and before I could react she said 'oh shut up it's only soft!!' I was 😮

If it is something like a Ryanair flight there are two queues, which are clearly marked as priority, you pay extra so you can board first get to your assigned seat and stow your cabin case.
You can almost guarantee there is always someone who will either push to the front or pretend to be totally oblivious as to what Priority is.
I have taken six flights with this option this year and seen it every time.
Half the time it’s not worth engaging with people like this.
One example this year was a lady with a walking stick who demanded priority even though she hadn’t paid just because she had a walking stick, after much shouting she was given priority by the gate staff , at which point she tucked the stick under her arm and shot off like a rat up a drainpipe to the front of the queue, the man with her looked mortified.

@PurBal I pay for priority as on some airlines it means you don't have to pay for a trolley case.

Anywhere else I'd point out to her that there is a queue. Boarding a plane I'd just ignore. You all have a seat number, you are all going to get on and sit in your allocated place, it doesn't matter what order you go in.

So it wouldn't hurt her to wait her turn then, would it.
