Our working patterns and childcare arrangements have fallen this week that DH and I have a day off together without our 2 year old. This never ever happens. We work full time shifts and feel like we've been ships in the night lately so I'm really looking forward to some quality time together.

Would love to know if you were feeling pretty exhausted and had a day (8am-6pm) to enjoy with your partner, how you'd spend it? So far my only idea is coffee 🙃

if you are knackered, find a good film online, get in some fancy popcorn etc and have a good time watching some films together and relaxing?

We had one recently too! Dropped DC to nursery together, walked to cafe (took the scenic, promenading arm in arm route) had a massive brunch. Did some local big sight seeing stuff that we haven't done before, went for light lunch....then had great intentions to continue into the afternoon but I fell asleep and napped the rest of the afternoon at home 😂 DH quietly took himself to workout in the garden and do some woodworking (his latest fad hobby) until I woke up to do the nursery pick up. It was a lovely day!
