Did he catch covid from female colleague

DP works in a small office, most of the workers have had covid and we/DP has never had it in all the 2.5 years. A female colleague was off with it last week and now we all have it in the house.

Its made me feel uneasy that we’ve never had covid the whole time, then suddenly this woman gets it and we have it the week after (he got symptoms first then me and the DC).

Am i being completely out of order for suggesting this/asking him outright if they’ve had close/inappropriate contact?

Hes had an affair with a colleague (at a different work place, years ago) before (not on me, but on his ex), we’re otherwise trusting of each other.

He could have got it from touching an unsanitised surface she’s touched

Way more likely that they had sex on a desk than transmission by touching a surface 😂

This thread is an excellent counterbalance to the "always trust your gut" cliches that get trotted out around here.

Playing ' where did I catch Covid ' is futile and completely pointless. You will never ever know and it could have been absolutely anywhere. It's a total waste of mental energy. But there's obviously an underlying reason why you are entertaining suspicious thoughts. Are instincts telling you something isn't right, do you have concrete reasons or is it a reflection of other things going on - ie mental health, stress or something?

I got covid from my male boss. After a work meeting. Where we sat and talked. It's not herpes.
