I'm sick of these tinder apps they are awash with the lowest common denominators in every fashion.

It seems to me men don't chat women up anymore in bars and clubs..

I've hears on a podcast (don't flame me!) that women who approach men are wasting their time; if a man is interested, he'll approach you

Absolute nonsense I'm afraid

Martial art. Not art. Big difference :) @EarthSight

The majority of bars, pubs, and sports clubs (both spectating amd participation) get more men than women through the door.

Pick something you'll enjoy doing anyway and take it from there.

I met the men I had serious relationships with at work and a conference related to work.

Please don't join sports groups (or other established hobby groups) just to flirt and pick up a date. It's really annoying and screws up the dynamics. Only join groups if you are interested in the actual hobby.

There are many meetups, networking events, gigs, singles parties, etc etc. Go to these, dress well, make a lot of eye contact, exchange numbers, and take it from there.

Any decent sports club will have a beginners class. I'm playing volleyball in the UK (not London) and my club is really friendly, bit more men than women, all sort of ages (admittedly mostly young) and all sorts of relationship statuses. Agree though it helps if you are at least interested in the sport / hobby but as long as you don't explicitly say "I'm here to date" my club would absolutely welcome you (in the beginner's session). A lot of experienced players help out with beginners and there are a lot of social events too so newbies can easily meet everyone and are welcome.

@Northbynorthbreast I don't know.....I have doubts. I imagine it also being filled with a certain type of woman-hating incel who owns a sword collection at home 😆

I met my husband at the local supermarket when I was out shopping with my Mum.
I nudged my Mum, commented on how good looking he was and she came back with, "well, let's go and say hi then shall we!" ... Wouldn't let me leave until I asked him out.
I was mortified, but worked out well for us!! 😅
