Does falling out of love mean you never loved

I’m currently in the very messy process of separation.

my husband has deemed that I must never have loved him because if I had I wouldn’t be sat here asking for a separation.
he compared this to love for our children…. He said
would you ever stop loving your children.

do you think falling out of love with someone means you never loved them to begin with?

Don’t be ridiculous. He’s gaslighting you.

Don't let him get into your head. People change. Of course it's possible to love someone and then fall out of love.

Romantic love and family love are 2 different things.

People change and fall in and out of love, he's an idiot.

Someone claimed that to me once and it was quite hurtful. Of course if someone treats you badly for instance, you'll think less highly of them and fall out of love with them. That's healthy.

Whatever the reason you want to end the marriage, his comments are very manipulative. He's not your child and it's not the same relationship.

I would avoid listening to him more than you have to if I were you. Have as little conversation with him as possible. He's trying to be hurtful and manipulate you.

And yes, some people do understandably grow to dislike family members anyway- if they've been violent and theived off them and so on.

It's two different types of love. He's being manipulative with that
