Neck kiss

I have been dating a man for 7 weeks. We have become close but I'm still cautious. I don't know why but he says he wants to kiss my neck next time we are out. I have not slept with him. I also don't know why he is telling me that he wants to kiss my neck. Is he only after sex?

After a couple of dates (as an adult) you should be able to work out if you want to move the relationship along in my experience - if you are still hesitant then it's time to find someone else, it's your gut instinct saying it's not right

A lot of people are on their best behaviour for the first couple of dates, I don't think they tell you anything. It's definitely not long enough for me to tell if I'd want to sleep with someone. On the other hand I'd happily snog and have neck kisses on date one if I liked them.
OP I'd have thought that after seven weeks he's not just in it for sex - but I have read on here people saying they waited that long as they thought they couldn't just be after sex and then were still ghosted after it happened.

Maybe that's why dating is difficult for you, you rush in and give them what they want. If you're just enjoying the casual sex then all good, but if you want someone decent to have a relationship with it's best to wait.

Have you not kissed after 7 weeks? I can’t imagine dating for that length of time without any kind of kissing or intimacy.

I love necks, and if I'm really liking someone I always want to kiss, nuzzle a mans neck. But i prob wouldn't tell him that, I'd just do it if it felt right. :)
