Evidence. But has anyone been through this process and can tell me what happens once reported? I'm feeling a little scared, nervous and alone. We have a child

OP - call the police when he is not around. I won’t go off track but the times I’ve had dealings with the police they take any matter of violence or abuse very seriously.
it is for the police to assist with evidence collection- you don’t need a rock solid case to report abuse.
Best of luck

Are you still living with him?

Bluemoon22 · 29/08/2022 10:24

@Facecream will they come out to the house once i report him? I don't want them just turning up incase he's at home

I had different circumstances to you OP. But surely if he turns up they are going to be with you to protect you?
Call them and tell them your concerns

hewouldwouldnthe · 29/08/2022 10:45

try womens aid for help too. You could go to the police station rather than calling them?

Bluemoon22 · 29/08/2022 10:46

From experience, they will believe you and they will help. They will also sign post you and refer you to local and practical support for you and little one. Good luck, will be thinking of you x
