Body confidence

My abusive ex said I was too fat and lumpy. Now I’m starting dating again, I’m petrified men are going to find me very unattractive when it comes to nakedness.

I’m a size 10 on top and size 12 on bottom. I look fine from outside but naked I have cellulite, a bloated belly and very wobbly bum and thighs. Hardly surprising given I don’t work out much anymore and I’m 39.

I’m not perfect by any means. But nobody is right? I’ve never been able to walk around naked in front of a partner.

If any man (or woman) ever comments on your body in a not so nice way, then they are absolutely the insecure one. Please don't listen to them, and don't let that awful ex make you think you're not worthy.

I am sure you're just lovely the way you are 😊 us women have bodies that change a lot over the years and we need to own them and love them.

Enjoy yourself when dating!

Be more confident.
I met my wife 20 years ago and for the first year that we were together she was shy and tried not to let me see her naked.
We then went for a few days to Paris to a cheap hotel and there was no space for her to avoid me seeing her.
It changed our lives.
She realised that I loved seeing her naked body, it is not perfect (I think it is but she disagrees) she realised that I like her as she is.
There is no perfect body, be proud of your body and be happy that you will find a man who loves your shape.

I'm a 50 something bloke ( for reference) and I have body image issues.
I have had intimate relationships with women and I've always mentioned my own insecurities.
Then they mention theirs and then it doesn't matter. That's true intimacy. When those body image things that bother us all don't matter to our partners.
