A bi-weekly podcast designed specifically to help women transition from barely surviving to truly thriving after escaping domestic abuse.

The cases of domestic abuse is rising at an exponential rate, much of the effort and support is focused on getting women and children out of immediate danger. But that is not where the story ends, on average it will take a women, with children at least five years to rebuild their life after experiencing domestic abuse, with 90% destined for a life of poverty. Along side sharing my own experience, I'll be talking to a range of experts and professionals providing insight and advice that you need to supercharge your recovery and move your life to a more positive place faster.

I'm looking forward to listening to this, looks good.

The thought of 5 years to "rebuild" plus the high likelihood of a life in poverty is really quite unappealing. As someone trying to get out of a difficult situation, it confirms my fears but that's just how it's got to be. The alternative is even worse. And that situation is extremely unfair in comparison to that of my hopefully-one-day-ex.

My young daughter is already getting the message - subtly and age-appropriately - that you never, ever, ever give up your work for someone else.

Fascinating topic, and so important. I'm nearly 3 years out and have achieved independence with a new career and the family home, through sheer grit and a lot of luck.

Voice of Survivor, Diem Mooney inspirationally shares his very deliberate five point plan on the steps survivors of abuse can take to define what their new future will look like. He also discusses why we all, shouldn’t just be ‘falling’ into relationships.
