I know men do this but it's so annoying!

Split up with my partner before Christmas, stayed friends. We split because of his constant moaning about his ex( every conversation), divorce proceedings, work, his tiredness etc.
Fast forward he's now acting on SM( I see because he's joined one of my hobby groups)as if he's this amazing fun person who has loads of interests & hobbies! To be fair he acted like a super fun person when we first got together.
I know it's nothing to do with me anymore & I need to move on. Just wanted a quick rant.

Unfollow him on social media. Works better.

Don’t most people act like that on social media 😂

It's spectacularly irritating, I agree. It's also highly unlikely to last long an ex-colleague of mine was a moany, married couch potato who hated nothing more than leaving the sofa and his iPad, ever. His wife divorced him, and for about a month after he moved out, he was going fencing and talking about mountaineering, before defaulting right back to the sofa. He has had a couple of girlfriends since, and inevitably starts by putting his best foot forward, but then settles into exactly the same pattern once he settles into the relationship, it's back to the sofa and his cast-iron routine.

Just be glad you don't have to watch him revert to Moaning Myrtle.
