How might a man know a woman is romantically interested in him?

I've nobody specific in mind - I'm currently quite happily single - however, a couple of recent threads and conversations with frends got cogs whirring and I got curious.

By and large, men still feel obliged to make the first move, so I'd probably agree that if a man is interested romantically in a women, unless there's circmstances that complicate things or he feels certain you'd say no, he'll simply ask you out. But is there anything men should look out for, specifically, that would indicate a woman is interested in him as opposed to simply being friendly?

Don't be scared.

And don't over think things.

What's the worst that can happen.

I think by the time a man asks a woman out, the woman has already done the displaying/presenting game.

Women will show you that they want you without uttering a word.

IME, they assume that the woman in interested.

I'm probably basing my view on a small number of men, but they don't seem to take into account that the woman might be out of their league.

Ime a certain type of man will assume ges in any woman's league regardless of any evidence to the contrary, while at the other end of the scale men who would be in a woman's league are very lacking in confidence, self preserving and date slightly down.

(Though league, dating down etc can be subjective)

Definately incidental touching before Covid. I'd quite often try to kiss them or just ask them out....sure I cross my legs as well !
