New gf already in every day life

Nc. ExH (abusive and I don't want him back in case anyone thinks I'm jealous. We've been split for almost a decade) ended his 9 year relationship with the ow mother of his two other dc back in June. By August he was in another relationship with another single mum with dc. He sees our dc twice a week on the same day he sees his other dc and his new gf and her dc are there every time. Our dc are young teens and the eldest was very upset about his break up with his ex gf and hasn't got over him leaving me either and it seems so selfish to have introduced his new gf to the dc so soon. There's no question to this really, I just wanted to off load because I'm really annoyed our dc come so far down on his list of priorities and never get any time with him. Contact is court ordered and he's been told he needs to prioritise dc but he doesn't.

Unfortunately he sounds like a confirmed idiot and crap dad who is unlikely to change his ways. I would focus on how you can help your kids come to terms with this and lower their expectations of him.

I agree. Lower expectations of him because he will always let you down. He is just one of those men who will never put their children first and always have to have their dick in someone regardless of how it impacts on anyone else.

The children are growing older and will no doubt be forming their own opinion of him. They will probably naturally drift away from him over time which doesn’t sound like it will be much of a loss. You just need to be there for them and offer support with their feelings.

It's really shit for all the dc involved. He just can't see how his need to be in a relationship impacts on them. He's saying she is just a friend but what 40 year old has his new opposite sex friend round every day?? He's only known her a few months and amazingly she didn't seem to exist before he broke up with his ex. The dc are not stupid especially as he introduced his now ex as a friend when he was still married to me 😂 Poor kids.
