I have an acquaintance who is approaching mid 40s and has mostly dated only 20 something year olds. He’s dated a few women in their 30s but claims he’s only ever really enjoyed sex once with a 21 year old. He was a virgin until his 30s.

This is pretty weird right?

Don't get the flack you're getting. Of course it's gross for an older man to only like young women. But it sounds like he has delayed emotional maturity due to losing his virginity so late.. his head is stuck as a young man/making up for lost youth.

How do you know so much about an aquaintance’s sex life? I don’t even know that much about the sex life of my closest friends.

It sounds like he is over sharing if you don’t know each other well and I would find that in itself creepy although maybe you are fuelling the conversations as you seem over interested considering the man is only an acquaintance and you are thinking of his sex life to the extent you need to start a thread about it.

I think it's gross that he's telling you this stuff. He's acting like he's 18. I can't imagine talking about sex with any of my colleagues.

I wouldn't worry for too long about why he does it, or what he does, but I would distance myself from him.
