Getting my ducks in a row

Hi all,
I think we’ve reached a point where it’s fair to say my marriage is at make or break point. We got together very young (I was 19 when we got married!) and it went from 0 to 100 very quickly. We married in 2014 after 2 years of dating, then had 3 DCs in the following 5 years. DH works a stressful job that takes presence over absolutely everything else, meaning that I’ve basically been a single parent the whole time and he just happens to live in the same house.
I brought it to his attention just how unhappy I’ve been about 8 weeks ago. We’ve been living as housemates since then. He still wants to try and fix our relationship but I’m not entirely sure there’s anything left to fix.
I need to have my ducks in a row because if it comes down to it, it will be me and the DCs leaving the family home.
I only work part time, and I’ve looked today what help I could be entitled to and rent prices in the area. Looking at around £850-£950 p/m rent. I earn around £600 p/m. UC estimate is £1600, and from what I’m seeing online DH should be paying a minimum of £500 in maintenance (his job means an equal 50/50 share with the children isn’t possible at all, so I would have them majority of the time). This seems like an awful lot of money to me Blush Do those numbers seem correct?
I don’t really have anyone in real life that I could ask!!
