Hi.....don't tend to post much on these sites, but found this really useful during my pregnancy when I had extreme sickness. Thank you.
I am hoping someone may be able to help here. I gave birth 6 months ago to a lovely little girl (we called her Amber). I am 19, and have been with my partner for 6 years....a school crush :) He is amazing.

The thing is, since giving birth, I have lost all "intimate" feelings for him, but at the same time, have very strong feelings for another girl....which I have never ever had before. When I say strong feelings, it is almost an obsession. She doesn't know, only my sister does, and she says it is hormones and it will settle down. Before I do anything I will regret, is it hormones ? Will these feeling go away ? Anyone else had the same. Other than that, and about 1 month of "baby blues" all is perfect. Thank you

Going off your partner for a while (and disliking being touched) is really normal after a baby. Fol like, a year potentially.

Suddenly liking a girl instead is a bit weird though. But everyone gets a girl crush here and then and it could be exasabated by missing tenderness and affection that in your mind does not carry the risk of more babies. Like she feels, safe and warm maybe. And the hormones could intensify and confuse those feelings.

That being said, you are only 19...so maybe you've just realised you are bi.

Your hormones are probably bubbling at the moment, but l doubt that is the sole issue here; l didn’t discover my bi side until l was in my 30s.

It’s something that needn’t worry you though.
