If you get on brilliantly, have a real good laugh, look forward to hearing from them... Can you grow to fancy them? Can attraction develop?

Not for me. I was friends with my DH for 5 years and we've been together for 20 years now Smile

I really seldom fancy people immediately. It comes from enjoying their company and humour. However if you do normally fancy people right away, then I'd leave this one and not bother!

People often seem to misinterpret the question.
It's not "should I have sex with someone I'm not attracted to?"

Meeting someone and not fancying them at first but then having the attraction grow is quite different.

I’ve only ever really fancied two people at first sight in a “I want to rip your clothes off” kind of way. Every other person was a grower after knowing them for a while.

For me yes!
I have to be physically attracted. If I don't feel the chemistry at the start then they're in the friend zone and don't come back out.

IME if it doesn’t happen pretty quickly it wasn’t the real deal. I’ve met people who I liked and fancied and went out with for a while to see where it went but didn’t initially fall in love with, and those types of mild relationships never really compared to the proper ones with genuine chemistry.
