New relationship - question about intensity

I’m divorced. Prior to my marriage all my relationships usually started by clicking with someone and seeing them often (2x3x times a week) and sending each other messages, missing each other. However, since my divorce I can’t seem to find that. Most men I dated during the last two years wanted to see me only once a week and wasn’t as enthusiastic as I would hope. I wish I was ok with that, but I just couldn’t get the butterflies feelings because of the lack of time spent together/attention so I always gave up on them after 2 months. Now I’m seeing someone for month and a half I really fancy, but the same issue is happening and I’m losing interest.
Am I too intense? Or did I just not a find a right person? What is your experience like?

I would say three times a week is pretty average unless you have children or other responsibilities, or a consuming job. If he’s seeing his friends then I agree with pp, he’s not too bothered or he would make time surely.

That’s positive. If you like him I wouldn’t look too much in to how often you are seeing each other right now. It’s not like you can go to the pub, eat out and plan fun dating stuff. There is only so much walking you can do right?

Ye if a guy wants to see you he tends to make it known. You should let him know you want to see him a little bit more and go from there, your cards are then on the table and you know from his response, he will either make more effort and then you know the feelings are reciprocated or he wont and then its your decision whether you want to give any more time to him or not.

Stop being nonchalant, your allowed to let your feelings be know and I think in this day and era we are scared of being rejected so tend to hide our feelings. Their is nothing wrong with being open to him about wanting it to progress a little!
