Hi...
I have recently came out of a long term relationship and married for 5 years. Since lockdown things went down hill out of no where, I was accused constantly of having affairs, I done a lie detector test, I have a private detective go through my life, our conversations plastered over social media etc etc
My ex moved out and daughter decided to move with him, she’s 14 and seems to have been completely manipulated and brainwashed by him.
I got made redundant and was too scared to live on my own with our 9 year old so moved in with my dad temporarily.
I have a non Molestation order on my ex as he was so unpredictable in what he would say or do next.
Childcare arrangements go through a third party now. Drop off was their house but now with the lockdown they can’t go in the third party’s house. The conditions are 100metre distance and no contact.
This hasn’t been in place long but now I’m thinking how unfair it is on the children not being able to be dropped off at their own parents house. My dad is dropping the kids to his and picking them up and he drops the kids to the end of the road.
Has anyone else had a similar situation? My dad won’t let me go in the car to drop them too as he says it’s conflicts the rules
It’s all such a mess...
Thanks

Gosh. No experience I'm afraid, but I wanted to send you my sympathies Thanks Hope things get easier for you.

May I ask: have you found the non-molestation order valuable in other senses - eg has it given you peace of mind?

ThingsCanGetBetter · 07/01/2021 20:42

Thank you
Not been in place long enough yet but in the fact he can’t message me or put anything on social media about me or the order that gives me peace of mind definitely. There has been times when our business has been splashed over social media previously which wasn’t nice.
It is making child arrangements awkward but hopefully the kids will later if not now understand why I had to put this in place.

Ah well I'm glad it's giving you peace of mind at least. Logistics can be tricky but IMO peace of mind is so amazingly valuable (I know this well myself - my ex isn't letting me have much of it at the mo Confused) so it sounds like you've done the right thing. Yes I'm sure the DCs will understand. Hope things get easier for you soon
