We walked past a house and he started to tell me a story about how a few years back there, him and some girl had started getting hot and heavy and they were trying to be alone but some guy kept interrupting etc..
I just said 'not really something I wanna think about tbh' in a jokey way but I admit I didn't really wanna know.
He apologised and I said it was no big deal and left it there. Was I too jealous ?

I think the story was meant to be funny, I know we all have a past, maybe I just took it badly.

I'd hate this too op

Dollydoo1 · 20/11/2020 19:02

That would be a turn off for me also.

pinkyredrose · 20/11/2020 19:04

Is he very young? I can't see why he'd want to detail a previous sexual encounter.

Onthedunes · 20/11/2020 19:06

Not scared of losing you is he?

Sounds full of himself.

JustFrigginNameChange · 20/11/2020 19:06

That'd make me feel uncomfortable too. It's a normal reaction

Whitechocolatemarshmallow · 20/11/2020 19:07

He didn't tell me 'things' they actually did, just the fact that they were wanting to be alone and things were happening but this guy kept interrupting.

I know we all have a past and it's totally normal for stories to come up and things like "Oh I went there with my ex once". Glad to see it's not just me being too jealous though.

Bunnymumy · 20/11/2020 19:08

Depends. If he makes a habbit of banging on about his exs and past encounters...then I would be bolting for the door.

But if it was a one off, humour attempt (and provided he always made me feel secure in general) it wouldn't have bothered me. I think provided you feel secure in things you should probably be able to laugh the occasional story like that off.

Whitechocolatemarshmallow · 20/11/2020 19:10

There was an ex from 4 years ago who he dated for about a year. At one point I realised he had spoken about her for 3 days on the trot, so I pulled him up on it and he doesn't do it now.

Pretty inconsiderate / immature. I wouldn't feel great about this and it would feel somewhat undermining of me/our relationship.
I would let it go for now but in a couple of days casually slip into convo that you 'gave a bj on that bench' or whatever, see how he likes it Halloween Grin

Angelfish2021 · 20/11/2020 19:55

Yes do what @boomoohoo said and add that the guy was so well endowed that it always sticks in your memory 😂😂

ChristinKhan9 · 20/11/2020 20:05

Don’t worry, it’s just a tease for attention.
Next time say straight - “are you up for a “bed time “story”, darling?”

widespreadpanic · 20/11/2020 21:02

I agree with christinkhan. He just wanted attention. But is this becomes habit you should be wary. I dated someone who lived to tell me about his sexual escapades, I think he got off on it but after a few of these stories I knew I had to kick him to the curb. Not because I was jealous but it made him look like a pervy attention seeker which is so unattractive.
