Who can I talk too?

I have a list of things I need some clarity on. I don't need to be judged but I do need someone to question me and ask me things and give opinions. Is this a counsellor's job?

It's regarding my baby and in laws, partner, step children, living arrangements, going back to work etc. Everything feels too much and I just want to take my baby and run. Obviously I can't but I do need help. I feel like I'm trapped and everyone is pulling at me. I'm worried my baby will hate me for being upset and unfocused and reject me.

Yes, a counsellor should be able to listen and help. Person-centred counselling, have a look at the BACP website for their directory. Talking really helps Flowers

Person centred is very much an ongoing way of therapy where if its done right, it's you that talks, and they just listen and encourage you to work things out for yourself. Other types of therapy are more therapist led, with techniques for coping mechanisms et. Bear that in mind when looking for your therapist and which would suit more. Even ask the therapist what they would be looking to do
