Would you go on a second date?

Went on a date with a lovely bloke last night. He is intelligent, interested in me, funny, we share so many interests, he's accepting entirely of the fact I have a toddler... his personality is unbelievably attractive! But... I don't know if I'm physically attracted to him. In fact, I don't often find myself physically attracted to anyone, and when I do, they tend to be rude or boring or a bad fit.

Would you go on a few more dates? Or is it a bad sign from the beginning if the physical attraction isn't there?

I'd known dp for years before we got together and never thought of him that way at all. I fancy the pants off him now! I'd definitely say you should go on a second date.

As long as he has something that makes you think about him, especially if it's a positive trait Grin, I'd keep going.

If it was just nice, lovely but all a bit.. meh. Then I'd understand.

Is he possibly the first one in a long time that did make you tick, even if not in the way you should , and you're feeling a bit scared?

@ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble I've been single for around 20 months now. I've put myself out there the last 6 months and met quite a few people. He's the first one that I felt a strong emotional spark with. We hardly stopped talking. We share so many qualities and I didn't really want the date to end. I think there's something there, definitely. I'm excited to see him again even without being sure we physical attraction.

Tbh that seems more like a lot going on rather than not enough.

You could possibly be overwhelmed, not underwhelmed. Give it a go, have the second date, take it easy and very slowly and enjoy it . He doesn't have to be your future husband.
