Yes. My babies didn't mind. They weren't interested. Go for it.

Spidermama · 03/10/2007 13:21

It's also nice to find the odd spare minute in, say, the kitchen or the study.

PandaG · 03/10/2007 13:21

Yes. Is also possible to do so when they are in the bed with you!

JeremyVile · 03/10/2007 13:23

Maybe try another room?
I couldn't do it in the same room as my baby but you can get round it very easily, unless you live in a bedsit..or tent...or caravan....

tiredemma · 03/10/2007 13:31

I couldnt do it. would freak me out.

do as Spidey says- why just stick to the bedroom?!!

tibsy · 03/10/2007 13:32

gawd yes, you just need to switch off from their cute snuffling noises as it can be offputting!!
alternatively, be adventurous and try another room!!

harleyweendemon · 03/10/2007 13:33

yes mine never noticed

morningpaper · 03/10/2007 13:40

Claire Verity recommends the kitchen

tiredemma · 03/10/2007 13:41

with other mens husbands, you forgot to add MP.

Spidermama · 03/10/2007 13:41

I can also highly recommend the kitchen, especially now I have so much extra padding for those hard surfaces.

saggarmakersbottomknocker · 03/10/2007 13:42

Yes. Make the most of it. It's much more difficult whne they are able to come and investigate any unusual noises. And even more difficult when they are teens and can't fathom that you're still 'doing it'

MamaG · 03/10/2007 13:42

get down to it on the sofa
dining room table
kitchen floor
stairs
bath
shower
garden

Spidermama · 03/10/2007 13:42

Mick Jagger's kitchen would work well for me.

Piggy · 03/10/2007 13:43

Ds2 was conceived when ds1 was 4 months old. Ds1 slept in our room until he was 6 months old.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2007 13:43

yes you can - although you may need to keep the noise down a little .

We cant' use the kitchen - we have no kitchen blinds - and it looks straight over teh wall into our (79yr old) next door neighbours kitchen

tiredemma · 03/10/2007 13:43

I always found the hallway ( stairs especially) to be a 'delight'.

slimbyxmas · 03/10/2007 14:07

Ladies ladies thankyou am feeling Very inspired now god help him when he get home, I also have teenagers which rules out some of the options but not all of them by any means
