So basically my mum who is in 70’s and a wonderful mum and grandma is getting on a bit.
We all love her lots but she is getting quite deaf these days and despite hearing aids misses a lot of our chat. She gets really cross and impatient.
I do massively understand and we all try and speak clearly , look at her , don’t slur but ...
She now dominates conversations as I feel she is doing this because of her hearing loss so she know the conversation and can participate. We are all tying to be mindful of this and always include her and repeat etc .
It’s just so hard as she doesn’t stop talking and had done on several trips without hardly taking a breath.
Any ideas or thoughts how to help her?
