Lockdown bringing memories back?!

I don’t know where to post this but is anyone else finding that lockdown is bringing back long buried Memories? Unsavoury, unanswered,?possible abuse? Stuff I’ve not questioned in a long time.

I’ve been with my DH for 15 years, I’ve stopped myself blurting out stuff in the past week, that he doesn’t know about. I’ve been home since early March, only been out to shop, exercise etc. Day to day I’m fine, I come across as grown up and possibly normal.

Yes. Write in a journal is my advice as if your DH blurts or reacts badly to something you burried it might take you steps back in dealing with them. Just observe your thoughts, write them down and give yourself time to decide whether this is something to discuss with a therapist or someone you trust...or what you want to do next.

Btw there is online and telephone therapy around in lockdown.

Is it being isolated that has brought these memories back?
