Housing transfer ni!

Can anyone who has been on the transfer list previously or if who is currently on it give me some insight into how long it may take to be offered a house? I was in contact with my branch manager a few months back and was waiting weeks for him to come out and do an inspection or to even call me back. I have contacted the council through email and have been placed on the list.
I am currently living in a VERY small 2 bed bungalow with 3 year old ds and 6m old dd. There is no fire exit out the back garden as it is connected to another garden and the only way out is to climb the fence which would be impossible with 2 children if the front was ever blocked off by a fire or something else. I have requested to move literally just 5 mins away which is also where my mother and brothers love and loads of cousins and other family live as well. I just want to know how good my chances are of being offered a house there and what experiences other people have had with how long it takes etc.
Thanks 😊

There is a beer forum? Where?

It'll depend hugely on the areas involved, to the point where it's almost meaningless even asking. Based on what you've said though you aren't overcrowded, it doesn't sound unsafe, so if they are in demand areas it's likely to be years, not months.

Do you have a working fire alarm where you live currently ?

Now is not the time to be moving during the virus

Are you privately renting atm and applying to be housed by the council do you mean?

If so, whereabouts you live will be a huge factor in whether you are accepted for housing and how long you will have to wait.

Is it private or council / ha ?
