Little things that make you happy

I work too hard and have neglected my relationship- I need to think of little things I can do to make my DP happy. We don't live together - what makes you happy?

I am naturally not good at this. Sorry. Please help!

We leave each other little notes around the house to find. Something really simple that makes you feel loved when you find them

Pokemon Go :) A lover got me into it in the summer. It means you're sitting close to each other in the car. You can also swap and fight monsters, raid together etc. It's really easy to play which suits me as I've never played a game like that and wasn't confident.

Another thing that's nice is playing music in the car as you go along.

Also the obvious- pub and chat, or a drink at home in front of something to watch.

It'll be easier to find stuff to do now it gets lighter later and the weather will hopefully be a bit finer.

How about a trip out to see some scenery, finishing with a drink/cuppa/prossecco cream tea or summat?

A few things I appreciate my partner doing.

He comes up with things we could do together. This shows me that he is making an effort to keep me interested, and the things we go to are often fun, so when I think of him I think of fun. Music events, films, holidays, walks in the country. Your partner is entertained without you having to do the entertaining :)

He thinks of what I might want. So when I come over after a long day, he's made a meal I like, or got a takeaway, or even just asks if I fancy popping out for a kebab! This doesn't involve great effort on his part, obviously, it's just the fact that he has already thought of what I might want.

He asks if I want a cup of coffee in bed. He brings me a dressing gown so I don't get cold when I get up. He always has dog food and snacks for my dog.

He's simply considerate.
