Having a hard time with new ish DP and wondering if anyone has noticed these things...

Difficulty sleeping, withdrawn, lack of engaging and not wanting to do much. Things like going out to the shops seeming like a big ordeal but when we are there he says the fresh air has been nice.

We’ve not spoken about the fact he takes these, I’ve just noticed them in the bathroom and the packet goes down each day...

I think my bf is on these. He gets tired a lot and can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, has difficulty waking in the morning but other than that - holds down a good job, is lovely, sex is great. More benefits than negatives.

I also used them. 30mg. As per PP, I had no side effects.
But different things work for different people and we all react differently.
It may be time for him to try something else if these are having this affect.
I was only mine about a year.
For me they GAVE me some motivation because I'd lost any will to do much.
So for me the opposite happened.
This is early on though.
Do you really want to stay with someone who wants to laze around all day.
What are his good points?

He's not lazy. Hmm he's got a mental illness. If you can't cope with that then best you walk away now. Citalopram doesn't cure depression. It just helps to manage the symptoms.
